Memoirs of a village witch. Episode 1

The white owl flew silently, until it perch on the roof of the only tall building around the community, it turns it’s flexible neck raising its head up and down looking for any stray neighborhood rats. After searching for long and not finding any food, it thought, “about time I search for food elsewhere after spending like one week in this neighborhood but no food in sight.” It stretch it wings to its full size and flew away.
Spinx look up and saw the white owl as it flew over the horizon in search of food for the night, it wonder how the owl fails to see some juicy rats at the backyard of this tall building. It trots silently approaching the bin area with stealth and looking out for any surprise that may come her way. She saw one of the house occupants dropped one bag of bin inside the big drum, forgetting to close the drum and walks back inside the house. Just then the two mice scurried from their hiding place to access the new goodies that had just been dropped. Spinx allowed them to enjoy their dinner and approach the bin as quietly as possible. The two rats do not have the chance to flee from their attacker as it pounced on them and snuff life out them.
Miss Ngozi was just coming back from church, saw as the big white owl flew away from their compound, “Jesus! This bird again!!! I rebuked you in…” she exclaimed and continuing praying and didn’t noticed when the big black cat, with a bad eye walks pass her and moves towards the bin at the back of their house. “I know my prayers haven answered. Amen” she finishes her prayer and walks towards the back of the house to enter her apartment through the kitchen door, then she noticed the big cat with a bad eye “AGHHHHH!!!!!” she screamed.

The sudden noise scared the cat; she turned towards the noise, jumped on the bin drum, leaped the fence and disappeared into the night.

Ngozi, saw the cat’s bad eye and became more scared of the animal and closed her eyes trying to shut out the image of what she just saw.

Mama Nkechi was an old woman, whose features have changed after old age had caught up with her, from a lady with average body feature to an old woman whose face had wrinkled a lot.

Mama Nkechi heard the scream and rushed to where the noise was coming from and saw Ngozi shivering with her eyes shut.
She called to her wondering what could cause the scream.
Ngozi opened her eyes and saw that mama Nkechi had one of her eye turned red,
she was scared of her and just comport herself and move into her apartment without talking to her.
“What happened? Ngozi!” mama Nkechi queried, Ngozi didn’t respond to her question, she just walked into her apartment.
“what could be wrong with this lady?” she wondered, as the itch she was feeling in her left eye starts again and she uses her hand on her eye again while she walks back to her own apartment.

When spinx jumped the fence to avoid mama Nkechi who was scratching her eye when she heard the scream;
she landed in an abandoned opened sewage dung and couldn’t swam her way out of the dung, her life ended that fateful night.

The sound of persistence knocking woke up the occupant of the opposite flat, Uche groaned as the noise found its’ way into his dreams only to discovered the noise was actually coming from someone is knocking on his neighbor’s door, he dragged himself sluggishly to check who it was by peeping  through the door peep hole.

The Kasimawo’s were early riser, most times they do wake up before 6am and the family would have left their flat by 7am on the dot. So he was surprise that someone would be knocking on their door at this time of the day which was 8:30am.

Uche couldn’t bear the noise anymore; he opened his door and engaged the visitor.
“Hello…good morning sir,” Uche offer his greetings.
“Morning sir…please do you know if they are at home” the stranger returns the greetings and also enquire about the occupant of the flat.

“Sorry they should be out already by this time” Uche return gesturing with is his wrist which had no wrist watch.

“Yeah, that suppose to be, but they always dropped their daughter to me, so I can help drop her at school. But I did not see them this morning, so I was wandering if they over slept” the stranger answered looking worried and checked on his watch to see that the time is now 8:32am.

Uche frowned at the stranger’s statements, he left his door and joined the stranger has they both knocked on the door once more to see if someone would answer them, but no answer was forthcoming.
Uche left the stranger and look for the other occupant of their building, thinking someone might  have seen them while they were leaving the building, while the stranger continues knocking drawing the attention of Uche’s wife, who also comes out to know what the noise was all about.

Uche’s wife Chioma looked on as neighbors that had not left for their respective places of work gather at the door of the Kasimawo’s, after many deliberations they all decides to breakdown the door to know what was going on.

On breaking down the door they found the whole family facing the television which was tuned to a station that was not transmitting any signal.
They called their names one after the other but no one responds, as they moved closer they discovered that they were just looking at the screen of the television but they were a dead.

HOW TO CREATE A STRONG PASSWORD

Before we begin, we must be clear on one major expectation: there is no such thing as a perfect password. A committed hacker can crack any password, given enough time and the right "dictionary" or "brute force" tools. But just like breaking into a car, if the protection is strong enough, the hacker will become discouraged and commonly give up before the protection fails. In this tutorial below, we will explain how to create a password that:  1) is not a word in the dictionary, nor a proper noun;   2) is complex enough to foil repetition attacks; and   3) is intuitive enough for you to remember. 1.  Start With a Base Word Phrase . A good password is at least 8 characters long, and once it reaches 15 characters, it becomes particularly resistant to hackers and their dictionary programs. To help build your password, start with a base word phrase. A useful approach is to choose a memorable catchphrase, quotation, or easy-to-remember saying, and take the
